ABOUT

Our Vision

Living Faith Community Church is a group of people seeking to serve the metropolitan Seattle area in a Christ-centered manner. Our dream is encompassed in our name: to discover what it means to live our faith in the context of a loving and accepting community.

Our Values

  • to love God by the way we live, worship, and work
  • to love others by providing opportunities for relational connection through service, small groups, classes, and organized activities
  • to know ourselves as God reveals glimpses of both our dignity and depravity in order that we might become truly authentic in our faith and personhood
  • to serve the world through teams of caring people who are willing to engage the challenges that come with living in a complex world

Our History

Living Faith Community Church (LFCC) was founded in 1997. The church was founded for the purpose of providing Christian expression and worship to second generation Korean Americans in the Seattle area. Over the years, LFCC has grown to become a more ethnically and socially diverse church with members throughout the Puget Sound area.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect if I visit?
Our Sunday worship begins at 1:30 pm. The afternoon time was selected as LFCC borrows our meeting facilities from North Seattle Alliance (NSA) church. We have had a great relationship with NSA since 1997 and enjoy the centralized location in North Seattle as well as the abundant facilities. Hence, when you arrive look for the North Seattle Alliance sign. There is plenty of parking available. Please enter through the main doors closest to the N. 122nd St., and the sanctuary will be to your right. We typically worship until 2:45 and enjoy a mid afternoon supper together during which you can meet and greet our members. As LFCC is not an oversized church, it will be difficult for you to visit anonymously. Please be prepared to be greeted by the warmth of the LFCC community.

Is there a children's program?
The children's ministry at LFCC provides a loving and fun environment for children to worship God and learn about him. The children meet for worship and Sunday school classes at 1:30. For more information, please contact LFCC.

What else does LFCC do?
Our community meets in small groups to get to know one another and build friendships. We meet on Sunday afternoons for teaching and discussion. We meet once a month in our church cafe for prayer and discussion on special topics. We participate in various service projects throughout the year.

Who attends LFCC?
While many of those who attend are Korean American, LFCC is a diverse ethnic and social group from all over the greater Seattle area. All are welcome to come and worship with us.

How is LFCC governed?
LFCC is led by a Governing Board who oversees the operations of the various ministries, appropriates the budget, and builds accountability with staff. Members are actively encouraged to provide feedback and get involved in leadership. Elected leaders demonstrate their love for God through servant leadership.
