We live in a very visual culture!
In our everyday lives, the world will attempt to direct our attention to things that are not pleasing and satisfying to the Lord. Our goal is to spark your creative senses, boost your artistic confidence, and encourage you to see things through a different lens for Christ.

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
- Ephesians 2:10

The Creative Arts Ministry wants to elevate the church body to be like God and realize your call to create. Whatever your skill level may be, we want you to get involved and join us for upcoming events and serving opportunities.

“He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and weavers—all of them skilled workers and designers.”
- Exodus 35:35

PRAYER ROOM

Vision & Purpose
"In April 2019 we opened our Prayer Room. In the original design plans of the church there was a prayer chapel included. However, for many different reasons it couldn’t be part of the finished church property. Since then, we have had it on our hearts and minds that a designated place for prayer was much needed. In my role as Creative Arts Director, my first assignment was to design this room and then bring it to fruition.

My favorite part of this whole project was at the very end where I had several people ask to pray with me at the opening. Not only did I get to see what God can do with an empty room, I got to experience the power of prayer when you make room for it."

PAINT NIGHT

CREATE & CONNECT
"In August 2019 we hosted our first Paint Night. The goal of this class was to encourage our church that they can do more than meets the eye. We took a class of beginners and had them do the work of an Old Master, Caravaggio. We painted the pivotal scene from the Gospels where Thomas finally believes by touching the wound of the Resurrected Christ.

There were 48 canvases in total making up one large mural. We too are like these canvases, many believers coming together as the body of Christ. On the outskirts of the painting we listed each of the titles of the current message series “Christ To Us”. I look forward to many more events in which we can discover more of our creative side and connect us back to Christ, who makes all things new."

“Then the Lord said to Moses, “See, I have chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills— to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, to cut and set stones, to work in wood, and to engage in all kinds of crafts.”
- Exodus 31:1-5

WEBSITE

DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT
There is more to web design than making pretty pages. The way people interact with your message and engage with your content is vital in today's digital world.

It was a key decision to move away from templated church layouts and step up our game to a custom solution. In the months to come we will be rolling out several new features and tools for you to connect with LFCC and grow in your faith.
